This Blog

And its future

I really have no clue what is in store for cenquist.com. It will continue. In some form. But at this time I haven't decided what I will do. I'm going to kind of take a sabbatical from it. At least in the sense of regularly scheduled posts.

The Bi-Weekly Beer Reviews are officially retired. Thanks for reading them. It was fun and I learned a lot about beer but honestly, I never enjoyed writing them too much. Beer won't vanish from the blog, I promise. You will still get Pub Chat posts, and hopefully some photo essays from beer related events and trips.

Photos are one thing I want to bring to the blog. Something I want to improve upon doing and see what I can do in a sense to highlight them on here. Maybe my outlet for that will be here in a form of photo essays. Still not sure yet.

I will also be semi-retiring The Great Burger Hunt. The odd review will show up but not monthly anymore. I've done quite a bit of the big places in the city, only really a few left of the true burger joints to do anyway! The topic of food will not be going anywhere. I would like to post more recipes on here. I do have a few beer based cooking recipes I have been trying to master to post on the here. One or two should show up soon.

There are a few things in the works that may or may not see the light of day too. The suspense is killing you I'm sure.

Essentially though I am just burned out from school and life, so I am taking a mild break until sometime in the summer or so. Allowing me to figure out what is in store for the blog and myself. So really what I am trying to say is I have no idea what I'm doing with this blog and when I will return to regularly scheduled posting, other than Pub Chat posts.
